Mahindra Ugine Steel Co Ltd. (MUSCO), a part of the famous Mahindra & Mahindra Group of Companies, is located at Khopoli, near Mumbai and is a premier manufacturer of alloy steel and specialty steels in India.

Started in 1962, having a current installed capacity of 180000 MT is ready to expand to 240000 MT by 2012.

The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of alloy & specialized steel through 50 T Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route.

The Co was one of the First to get ISO Certification and was further certified for ISO/TS 16949 in 2005 and ISO 14001 in 2010.

MUSCO caters to Automotive, Engineering, Bearings and other capital goods industries. MUSCO steel is a single source to many Multinational and domestic customers in India as well as to the Government of India in the field of Power Generation, Railways & Defence.
