Shree Precoated Steels Ltd (SPSL) specialises in the production and supply of high-quality coated flat steel products. The company manufactures pre-painted galvanized steel coils and sheets, galvanized steel coils and sheets, cold rolled steel coils and pickled hot rolled steel products. The company's coated flat steel products are marketed under the brand names METACOLOR, METAGALVA and METACOR.

METACOR - COLD ROLLED STEEL COILS

METACOR is cold rolled in a modern and highly advanced computerised cold rolling mill where strip shape, dimensions and tolerances are closely and continuously monitored to meet the demands of greater product diversity and consistent quality. The cold rolled steel products have a thickness range of 0.15mm to 2.00mm and width range of 600mm to 1,300mm. The cold rolled steel strips and sheets are produced through various processes that include pickling, cold rolling, cleaning, temper rolling, tension and levelling .

METAGALVA - GALVANIZED STEEL COILS AND SHEETS

METAGALVA steel coils are manufactured in a state-of-the-art plant employing mini spangle equipment from the USA: online -skinpass mills and stretch tension levellers that ensure ultimate strip flatness and surface finish, as well as maximum customizing potential with a choice of zero, mini and regular spangles.

SPSL manufactures METAGALVA galvanized steel coils and galvanized steel sheets using non-ox, thermal refining and annealing process. The wide range of METAGALVA galvanized steel coils and sheet products include:

Metagalva galvanized coils:

• * 0.15mm to 1.6mm (* thickness below 0.2mm upto 0.15mm on special requests from customers)
• Width - 600mm to 1,300mm

Metagalva galvanized corrugated sheets:

• * 0.15mm to 0.80mm (* thickness below 0.2mm upto 0.15mm on special requests from customers)
• Width - 740mm to 1,130mm
• Length - 6ft to 12ft

Metagalva galvanized plain sheets:

• * 0.15mm to 1.5mm (* thickness below 0.2mm up to 0.15mm on special requests from customers)
• Width - 600mm to 1,300mm

METACOLOR - COLOR COATED GALVANIZED STEEL COILS

SPSL's METACOLOR plant was installed in technical collaboration with Cockerill Mechanical Industries (CMI), one of the largest steel conglomerate and market leaders in Europe. The METACOLOR plant also uses equipment such as coating stations, laminating and embossing stations and printing stations from GFG of USA, ovens from Stein Heurtey of France and revolutionary reverse roller coating technology from CMI Belgium.

METACOLOR TRAPEZOIDAL ROOFING AND CLADDING SHEET ACCESSORIES

The company offers two unique trapezoidal roofing and cladding sheet accessories with a cover width of Meta 930mm and a Meta width of 1,050mm for metal roofing systems. Our trapezoidal roofing and cladding sheet accessories include METACOLOR hot dip galvanized steel, METACOLOR high tensile galfan, and METACOLOR high-tensile galvalume.

PLAIN SHEETS

Our high-quality coated flat steel products conform to the follwing international standards: ASTM, DIN, BS, JIS and IS. SPSL has been accredited with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificate by DNV Netherlands.

SHREE PRECOATED STEELS

SPSL's plant facility is built on 250,000m² of land at Sanaswadi near Pune. It is located about 165km from JNPT Port - Mumbai, the central hub of India's industrial and financial activities.

In 2006, Shree Precoated Steels shall emerge as the largest producer of Color Coated Steel in the international scenario with the commissioning of the Second Color Coating Line. The company has a joint collaboration with M/s. ThyssenKrupp Stahl, Germany, in the qualitative and quantitative production of the company's operations.
