Shaping Metals by Hydroforming
The current manufacturing trends are interested in hydroforming. However, there is a huge competition from the stamping and forging industries, because of their competitive production capacity. The recent market trend shows the migration to stamping because of the pricing pressures that resulted loss for hydroformers and tube manufacturers.

The growing demand for stiffer, stronger, and lighter structures puts the hydroforming process at an advantageous position in the market. More applications in automotive body-in-white structures are likely to come up in near future, while the industry can successfully develop thinner, stronger tubes to support more hydroforming applications...

Tarkwa Gold Mine Heap Leach Facilities Resume Operations

JOHANNESBURG
Tarkwa reopened both the North and South Heap Leach facilities on the evening of 9 August 2012 after they were closed on 16 July 2012 to comply with an EPA directive that water discharges should be passed through a water treatment plant to reduce conductivity levels (a measure of the amount of dissolved salts in discharged water).
