Heat Treatment Furnaces

Heat treatment forms an integral part of the production procedure in the steel industry. It involves a cluster of industrial processes which is deployed to modify the physical or chemical properties of steel or even iron casting. Heat Treatment Furnaces are used to facilitate this process and they can be categorically divided into “batch furnaces” or “continuous furnaces”. The main distinction between the two is that the former is usually operated manually (loading and unloading) while the latter has an automatically mechanised conveying system which allows an incessant feed into the chamber of the furnace.
