Characteristics:-

1. Original stainless steel grades

•The original stainless steel grades “NK-430MA” and “NK-436L-NB” are used for external molded parts.

• Both grades have corrosion resistance equivalent to SUS304, a typical stainless steel grade.
• The low Ni content (0.6% or less) ensures low price fluctuations.
• Compared to aluminum, which is often used for automotive exterior moldings in Europe, stainless steel has higher corrosion resistance and does not need to be surface treated (anodized) like aluminum, reducing environmental impact and costs by reducing processes.

2. Design variations (surface treatments)

• Recently, the market for automotive exterior moldings has diversified in terms of colors and designs. NIPPON KINZOKU is able to supply a wide range of design variations (surface treatments).

• All surfaces can be processed continuously from the coil (strip steel) at the customer's site, so that the tools for forming and pressing can be used for all surfaces. The initial and processing costs can be reduced compared to painting or taping.
