Baltimore’s Marlin Steel Wire Products in South Baltimore is expanding once again, and the company’s new beginning was marked Monday by the destruction of the North Wall.

The mayor made the first blows towards destroying the wall today with Rep. Steny H. Hoyer.

Marlin Steel will expand their factory floor space by more than half, and plans to hire a larger workforce to support growing demands.

This expansion is part of the Mayor's continuing efforts to attract, retain and grow businesses in Baltimore as demonstrated through recent projects like the Amazon Fulfillment Center, Baltimore Horseshoe Casino and re-location of Pandora's regional headquarters to the city.
