The Government is considering more proposals to encourage the domestic steel industry, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in Parliament today.

He said that overall rain gods have been kinder this year than last year. "We are expecting good harvest," he added.

The economy is facing a different kind of challenge; China has slowed down; it is time for us to becoming a manufacturing hub, he said.
