JSW Steel's crude steel production rose 25 per cent in February

JSW Steel's crude steel production rose 25 percent to 12.65 lakh tonnes in February as against 10.13 lakh tonnes in February last year, the company said in a regulatory filing on BSE.

The company's production of flat rolled steel products during the month was up 23% to 8.96 lakh tonnes as compared to 7.28 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of last year.

Its production of long rolled steel products during February month grew 7% to 2.50 lakh tonnes as against 2.33 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.

Shares of the company closed up 1% at Rs. 183.10 apiece on Wednesday on BSE.
