Trifecta Steel investing $3 million in Owensboro facility

18 August 2015

Trifecta Steel plans to invest $3 million and add about 30 workers over the next three years at a steel fabrication and welding facility in Owensboro.

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reports (http://bit.ly/1KnLG8B) Trifecta is a new manufacturing company that designs and fabricates steel building components. It recently purchased an existing 17,000-square-foot facility and plans to add 21,600 square feet by November.

Trifecta Steel is an outgrowth of Owensboro-based Kentucky Building Systems.

Friday's announcement comes on the heels of preliminary approval of tax incentives of up to $345,000 to the company by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.

Madison Silvert, president and CEO of the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corp., says Owensboro will also be asked to provide tax incentives.
