According to Turkey's Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD), Turkey's crude steel output totaled 2.58 million tonne in February, down by 12.2%YoY.

Among them, 1.62 million tons were produced by electric furnaces, falling by 12.1% and 770,000 tons were made by blast furnaces, reducing by 12.5%, both compared to the figures in the same month of 2014.

In the first two months of this year, Turkey's crude steel output amounted to 4.9 million tons, down by 11.3% YoY.
