Steel Dynamics to be Added to S&P500® Index

Steel Dynamics, of the largest domestic steel producers and metals recyclers in the United States, welcomed the news that the company is being added to the S&P 500 Index, effective prior to the opening of trading on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

S&P Dow Jones Indices is the largest global resource for benchmarks and investable indices, including the Dow Jones Industrial Average as well as the S&P 500. It is widely recognized as one of the premier benchmarks of the U.S. equities market.
