Introduction:

Tata Steel Nederland has launched a new decoiling line at its Feijen service centre in Maastricht, investing 20 million euros. This facility will improve the speed and quality of steel delivery to industrial customers.

Features:

Tata Steel Nederland will now supply the most demanding steel qualities from its steel plant in IJmuiden through Feijen, ensuring the highest product quality and environmental standards, along with the technical and logistical services that customers require.

The new line features a decoiler and an automated sheet packaging line at the Feijen location in Maastricht, where hot-rolled steel coils from Tata Steel in IJmuiden are transformed into steel sheets.

In close collaboration with colleagues from the IJmuiden steel mill, Feijen focuses on serving customers in Europe and beyond. These customers operate in sectors such as agricultural and earthmoving machinery, trailers, cranes, and shipbuilding.
