The Indian Foundry Industry produces an estimated 12 million MT of various grades of castings to international standards. With approximately 4500 units, 85% are small scale, 10% medium, and 5% large scale. The industry boasts a turnover of approximately USD 20 billion, with exports around USD 3.54 billion, and is projected to reach USD 25 billion by 2025.
