The long dormant steel mill in Hennepin has a new owner, Hennepin Industrial Development LLC.IPS Steel LLC, who bought the property in 2014, sold it for the sum of $5 million on March 2, according to mortgage documents obtained by The Putnam County Record. IPS is listed in the documents as the lender.

They name William Marino as the manager of the Hennepin Industrial Development LLC. Its address is listed as 4117 N. Lowell Ave. in Chicago, a single-family home. The documents also list Chicago real estate attorney John R. Joyce of the law firm Roetzel and Andress. Joyce could not be reached for comment.
