Industrial Tube & Steel expands to Greater Nashville market

3 December 2016

Industrial Tube & Steel of Kent is expanding its reach to the south with the purchase of a 40,000-square-foot facility in Mount Juliet, Tenn., the company announced Friday, Dec. 2.

The metal and steel tubing supplier will begin services at the new location on Jan. 3, a news release stated.

Industrial Tube & Steel chose to expand in the Greater Nashville area to meet industry demands.

"The opportunity was there — the equipment, the facility, the knowledge, and the growing market that had an unfulfilled need," Gaynor said in a prepared statement.

Industrial Tube & Steel serves machine shops, fabricators, OEMs and other metalworking companies. The firm specializes in mechanical and structural tubing, continuous cast iron bar and tube, along with several other specialty alloy, stainless and bronze products.

This is the second expansion for the company. In 2013, it built an 80,000-square-foot warehouse facility in West Chester, Ohio, near Cincinnati. It was an upgrade from its previous 50,000-square-foot space in the area.

"With the addition of the Nashville branch and our third location, Industrial Tube & Steel is expanding its geographical footprint into the Southern U.S. region," president Richard B. Siess said. "We look forward to establishing new business relationships in the area by offering the same depth of our tubing and cast iron inventory, dedicated employees and strong customer service that have been our strength throughout our 60-year history."
