Qatar Steel has decreased their rebar prices by QAR 250 (USD 68) per ton for September output. The new rebar price is at QAR 1500 (USD 412) per ton delivered from UAE plant.

The price cut comes after Turkish rebar export prices decreased in the wake of slow market activity. Turkish rebar export prices were in the range of USD 385-395 per ton CFR in the beginning of August but last week, deals were concluded at about USD 378 per ton CFR.

Emirates Steel rebar prices for August-September delivery is at AED 1,750 (USD 476) per ton EXW.

Conares is offering rebar for August-September shipment at AED 1726 (USD 470) per ton delivered.

Emirates Steel rebar prices for October output is at AED 1,422 (USD 387) per ton EXW.

Turkish import prices are in the range of 360-365 per ton CFR as compared to USD 370-378 per ton CFR in the beginning of the month.
