High Speed CNC Punching for Medium to Large Volume Production
CNC Punching is a fast and cost effective method of creating holes in sheet metal for medium to high volume production batches. The punching process forces a steel punch through the material into a die thereby creating the cut-out. A nibbling process can also be used where the punched holes overlap leaving cut-outs and profiles in multiple shapes.
Our MuratecMotorum 2044 Punch has a 41 station turret with three auto indexing stations which help reduce tooling and set up costs.
By utilising our existing tooling profiles within your design you will be able to eliminate the necessity to purchase additional tooling – this will reduce both tooling costs and manufacturing lead time. Our CAD/CAM engineers will be happy to offer advice on design and tool selection and a full list of Falcon’s tooling stock is available on request.
If you would like to discuss your CNC Punching requirements or have any other enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us. One of our experts will be pleased to help.
