Machining Capabilities and Assembly Services
Assembly capabilities at Herd Manufacturing Inc. focus on projection welded, robotic welded, and riveted assembly, and are located within a 60,000 square foot facility with 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Our assembly capabilities include robotic welding with a 14″ x 18″ work area, projection welding on machines up to 250KVA, and riveting using 3/16 and 1/4 inch diameter rivets, while secondary machining methods include milling, turning, countersinking, tapping and drilling.
Herd Manufacturing Inc. has the equipment and ability to assist you with your Tool & Die making needs. By utilizing our Wire EDM technology, as well as our CNC machining capabilities, Herd can work from either your die drawings and fabricate the parts, or we can work off of your steel details and finish the work for you. We can accept all types of electronic files, and offer quality, precise work at affordable prices.
