Jenks & Cattell Engineering have supplied the automotive industry since the 1950's. We have made significant investment in skillset, equipment and infrastucture to adapt to the rapidly diversifying automotive industry. We are at at the forefront of supplying PHEV, HEV and BEV cars and commercial vehicles.
We work with our customers to manufacture and supply metal brackets, wire harness brackets, battery trays and components for electric powertrains, utilising aluminium, brass and mild steel.
Proudly, we supplied brackets for harnessing cables and casing for the Porsche Taycan; the first electric sports car for the brand.
Jenks & Cattell Engineering supply metal components for electrified commercial vehicles, meaning the batteries are on a larger scale, and we can utilise our large 2 metre press bed and for the lower volumes; our laser cutting machine.
Conception Phase Electric Vehicles
A lot of EV technology remains in the development stage; we are equipped to support projects from prototype through to production with both our lasers and presses being ideal to support various changes in design and quantities.
