COMPRESSION

Compression springs are open coiled, helical springs which offer resistance to comprehensive loads. Compression springs have a wide variety of applications, and may be made from different shapes of wire dependent on your application. M. Lizen Mfg has facilities to engineer and fabricate compression springs in straight, tapered or cone-shaped sections to fill your needs.

EXTENSION

Extension springs are close coiled, helical springs which offer resistance to tensile loads. Extension types differ from compression types in that the coils are wound close together with a built-in initial tension. This initial tension controls the force necessary to deflect the spring. M. Lizen Mfg. specializes in extension springs and in the forming of the loops and hooks used for applying the load.
