Safety Bonds

Safety Bonds are used as a secondary safety device for the use with lanterns, lights and speakers to take the load should the primary suspension fail. As Safety Bonds don’t have a specific standard, they are manufactured using the guidance specified in the standard for the Use of lifting equipment for performance - BS7906-1:2005.  This states the luminaire can drop no more than 150mm before the secondary suspension supports the load. Manufactured to individual requirements in black or natural finish and labelled with Working Load Limit (WLL), we can also do you a name label on request. If subjected to a shock load Safety Bonds must be immediately withdrawn from service and destroyed.
