Transfer Dies
STM designs and builds transfer dies for press mounted transfer systems, specifically for larger parts, or parts with fully hemmed edges. STM also designs and build transfer bars and fingers to fit press mounted transfer systems or we would be glad to work with your automation supplier to integrate the bars and fingers with the dies we are designing and building for you.
With the help of our Special Machines Division, we can integrate a dedicated transfer system onto the die with a servo or mechanical drive allowing presses not equipped with a transfer system to run parts requiring a transfer process. Our special machine department also offers part inspection in a running die. This is achieved using an In-die vision system to verify the quality of a specific zone on a part prior to the part exiting the die.

We focus on providing our customer's with the highest quality tooling, meeting close tolerances and stringent die specifications. With tryout capabilities up to 2000 tons accommodating dies up to 84" wide x 228" long.
