TWO-LEG BRIDLE SLING WITH OVAL LINK AND HOOKS

Trinity Sling (Trinity) fabricates two-leg wire rope slings (bridle slings) with capacities up to 73 tons. All two-leg bridles are made from the highest quality of materials. Bridles may be made from domestic materials or from imported wire rope and fittings as a value option. Domestic or imported, lifting slings and chokers fabricated by Trinity meet the requirements set forth in ASME B30.9. Lifting bridles are tagged with the working load limit (WLL) for all vertical lifts and lifts made at 60o, 45o, and 30o. Tags also clearly state the lifting sling’s length and serial number.

Trinity Sling fabricates two-part bridle slings to the customer’s requirements. Length, capacity and fittings are all customizable to the customer’s needs. Two-leg bridles are perfect for picking long narrow loads. They also excel at lifting items both with two pick points and in conjunction with spreader bars. When lifting with a two-leg bridle, care must be taken to allow for the lowered capacity of the bridle as the horizontal sling angle increases (see chart on this page). Two-leg lifting slings are designed and fabricated with a 5-to-1 design factor over the tagged WLL at each stated angle.

Trinity maintains documentation of material used in two-leg lifting slings from manufacturer to the end-user. Each bridle has a unique serial number and may be provided with an InfoChip RFID tag. All bridles made from ¾” wire rope and larger are automatically tagged with InfoChip RFID tags and receive a certificate of inspection, or proof test. Upon customer request all sizes can be proof tested and RFID tagged prior to delivery. Using InfoChip, customers can request notification for recertification on a regular basis. Trinity Sling recommends annual recertification and pull-test of all two-leg bridles.
