Copper

Copper is one of the basic non-ferrous metals, which plays important role in history from ancient times and especially in modern economy as the main metal for electric conductors. Hard to imagine modern, energy and electronic intensive society without copper.

More than 50% of copper is used in electric applications – wire, cables and connectors. Around 30% is consumed by construction industry because of copper high resistance to corrosion. Physical property of good thermal conductivity made copper widespread in air-conditioning.

Copper production is backbone and basic business for UMMC. We produce high quality copper to meet demand of our international consumers.
