Benton Foundry, Inc., an iron casting company, will expand its operations and production capacity at its facility in Benton, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.

Benton Foundry will expand its core pouring room and cleaning and finishing areas. The company has committed to investing more than $21 million in the project and create at least 40 new jobs over the next three years.

The project will support the combined retention and creation of 304 full-time jobs. Today, Benton Foundry’s state-of-the-art, fully automated facility pours 170 tons of iron daily and anticipates being able to increase its capacity to up to 225 tons per day after expanding.
