Nippon Steel and Sumikin Materials USA, Inc. announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee with an investment of $5.7 million.
Features:
Nippon Steel’s new 62,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located in the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Park. The company will be making modifications to the manufacturing space, installing equipment as well as building out the office space.
This new facility will create 65 new jobs in Lincoln County.
Nippon Steel is a major subsidiary of Nippon Steel & Simitomo Metal Corporation, the second largest steel making company in the world. Nippon Steel and Sumikin Materials manufactures a metal substrate for the automotive industry and is the only metal substrate manufacturer that produces the stainless foil raw material that is used the in the final product.
