In 1969 James T. Sumner founded Arcadia Manufacturing Group. In the beginning, James operated Arcadia out of his living room and the trunk of his car offering customers drills, taps, and saw blades. He built the business on superior customer service, an unbelievable passion for metals, and never backing down from a challenge. In 1979, with the same passion and values, Jim’s son William Sumner joined the company and together they grew the business into a premium metals service center offering specialty metals, cutting tools, and precision cutting services.

Today Arcadia Manufacturing Group is a FULL SERVICE, in-house Contract Manufacturer of fabricated metal parts, components, and assemblies, both large and small. We provide a wide range of services, including, but not limited to, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, fabrication, assembly, welding, machining and design engineering. Arcadia is a Veteran Owned Small Business headquartered in Green Island, NY with two facilities, totaling 88,000 square feet. We serve the transportation, architectural, infrastructure, energy, medical, military, defense, and construction industry.
