AboutBCW Manufacturing Group Ltd

BCW was formed in 2002 by three friends; Paul Biggs, Alec Cassie, and Andy Whelan. Having worked together for a number of years, there was a desire to form their own manufacturing business, and with over 60 years of manufacturing experience between them, it was the next logical step.

They were approached by a prestigious UK automotive OEM who requested they manufacture some urgent critical parts, thus beginning BCW’s manufacturing involvement within the automotive industry, and the rest, they say, is history.

While Paul has since retired, he keeps a keen interest in the business. Meanwhile, Alec and Andy are now joint owners and head up the holding group Ansuka, maintaining an active involvement in all group activities.

With continued investment, we have grown from a three-person business using one machine in a 2800 sq. ft unit, to a 200 plus strong team operating across multiple units on one site. As leaders in innovation, we have introduced bespoke, fully-automated robotic cells, working with 3D printed materials to drive down cost and improve quality and performance to ensure we remain one of the most advanced UK manufacturers, providing bespoke packages for our customers.

BCW is now a leading supplier of machined and treated parts for Aston Martin Lagonda, Jaguar Land Rover, Perkins Diesel Engines, Komatsu, Borg Warner, and Wesco Aircraft to name a few.

Looking to the future, we aim to continue with our focus of excellence in innovation, making use of the latest technologies to get the most out of our manufacturing capabilities and customer requirements, adapting our offerings to support industry innovations.
