AboutBraxton Manufacturing Co Inc

In the late 1950’s, Braxton T Nelson worked as toolmaker at his family’s deep drawing business in central Connecticut. There, Braxton honed his skills and developed a passion for the development of tooling and engineering involved in converting costly screw-machined parts to a more cost-efficient deep-drawn product.
After several years of working at the family business, Braxton had a vision to manufacture components that were impossible to produce utilizing the standard transfer-press technology used at that time to meet the demands of a rapidly growing high-technology market for electronics.

Possible happens ...

As a young entrepreneur, Braxton decided to take on this challenge by designing and building his own brand of transfer press, one capable of drawing parts smaller in diameter, longer in length, and with thinner walls to meet the demand for more precise components.
Driven by his passion to achieve the impossible, Braxton Manufacturing was founded in Woodbury CT in 1964 in a small building with three  “Braxton” transfer presses and a dream to be the best in the marketplace for precision deep drawn components.

... when Failure is never an option!

Due to the success of Braxton's Connecticut location, and continued growth, Braxton opened a second production facility in Southern California to support a growing customer base on the West Coast as well as Asian markets.
Today, Braxton has two state-of-the-art production facilities totaling over 90,000 sq ft., and sales offices in Europe and China supporting the production of billions of high-precision components shipped annually across the globe to fulfill the demands of today’s high-tech industries.
