OUR STORY

EM Manufacturing Ltd. was founded in March 2010. It was formed as the product of a merger between Enermax Fabricators Ltd. and Mountain Manufacturing Ltd. Enermax Fabricators was founded in 1978 as an ASME certified fabricator specializing in the design and manufacture of high quality tube and shell heat exchangers and other pressure vessels. Mountain Manufacturing, founded in 1985, was a precision machine shop that offered mechanical fitting and repair services. Both companies were founded in North Vancouver, Canada.

In 1998 the original owner of Enermax was looking to retire and sold his company to our current ownership group. Enermax flourished under new ownership and in 4 years purchased a neighboring machine shop, Mountain Manufacturing. The two companies remained separate entities until our Maple Ridge facility was completed. Shortly after both companies moved under one roof and formed EM Manufacturing.

Today EM Manufacturing operates in the same spirit of quality craftsmanship as it’s counterparts did, but now offers the added benefits of an improved facility, modern CNC equipment and the combined services of both companies.
