Tuffa UK’s mission is to produce a quality range of innovative tanks designed for safe, secure, clean and convenient fuel, chemical and water storage whilst protecting the environment and providing the highest levels of service for our customers.
Tuffa Tanks are well-established industry experts in bulk liquid storage and dispensing. We have over 30 years’ experience manufacturing industrial, commercial, agricultural and domestic storage tanks for an extremely broad and reputable range of clientele.
The Tuffa range of products is extremely diverse and always of top-quality which sets us apart from our competitors. We manufacture tanks in plastic or steel and can adapt the tanks to meet client’s specifications while offering sound technical support and advice to customers.

What products do we offer?
We provide tanks for the storage and dispensing of fuels, AdBlue®, water, and chemicals. In addition, we manufacture bespoke tanks and provide a range of equipment including fuel monitoring systems and a range of spare parts.
Due to the exclusivity of our best-selling Fire Protected tank range we have the widest variety of heating oil tanks on the market. We also manufacture a dedicated range of tanks for one of the largest global AdBlue® suppliers.
Depending on the range, we manufacture plastic tanks in single skin, bunded and fire protected in capacities from 1350 litres to 30,000 litres. The steel tanks can be manufactured to specific dimensions, but as standard are available from 900 litres to 100,000 litres. Both plastic and steel tanks are available with a range of optional extras, however, we are normally pretty flexible if clients need specific equipment and our operations are more than capable of fitting equipment/adapting the tanks.
Our steel tanks are positioned as a premium product. Unlike some other manufacturers which are not bunded at the bottom of the tank which is an area particularly susceptible to rust, our steel tanks are ‘fully bunded’. There are a load of other advantages to our steel tanks from the thickness of steel to the precision of the welding.
We are very competitive with the pricing of our plastic tanks and we offer a product which we believe is aesthetically more pleasant and often of higher quality. There are a few small but significant advantages of our tanks over competitors such as the extra space in the cabinet area, higher specification gauges and bund/overfull devices, and small changes in the manufacturing process which improve the integrity and durability of the tanks.

Our Tuffa Tanks are designed in the interest of pollution control. They comply with Environmental Agency Guidelines, and are manufactured to European Standards and depending on the application, Building Regulations. Our Fire Protected Oil Tank range of tanks comply with the functional requirements of Building Regulations.
Company and staff
We have over 30 years of experience in the storage tank industry, initially manufacturing steel tanks but we are also one of the first UK manufacturers to rotomold polyethylene tanks.
Tuffa is now a 2nd generation family company with a high proportion of staff who have worked here for more than 10 and in some cases 20 plus years. This means our knowledge and experience has really grown and stayed within the company.
We like to think (and from internal feedback and Google reviews our customers agree) that we are a large and skilled enough operation to manufacture a huge range of tanks that compete with and even surpass competitors. However, we are also a small enough company to really know our customers, understand their requirements and make adjustments to accommodate needs and requests.
