WPS International, the trading name of WPSi Group Ltd, is a privately owned company which was formed back in 1976. From small beginnings as a multi metal stockholder, the Company has developed into a major supplier of components and tubular products throughout the UK and Europe.
The Company is split into 3 divisions, all operating from a central location in the West Midlands:
WPS Components specialises in importing customer designed components from the Far East, and then supplying to customer schedules on a weekly/monthly basis. The customer benefits from low cost sourcing from a range of high quality suppliers, but with the advantage of UK based logistics. WP Stainless specialises in stocking a wide range of welded and seamless Stainless Steel Tubing predominantly for the manufacture of exhaust systems, ornamental applications, heat exchangers and medical/ veterinary products. WPS Handrails is the newest division in the Company and was formed back in 2008 in response to the massive growth of Stainless Steel handrail and balustrade systems in both commercial and domestic buildings. The division has now grown to become one of the largest suppliers to this market in the UK. With the advantage of being able to source tube from WP Stainless’ core suppliers, plus the handrail components via the WPS Components supply base in the Far East, WPS Handrails are in a perfect position to offer the most competitively priced systems.
