Romani is a leading manufacturer of blades for hot and cold cutting of blooms, slabs, billets, rebars, rods and structural steel. There are several steel grades used for these applications, varying from alloy steel for hot and cold cutting, whose main characteristics are the high toughness and impact resistance in addition to a good resistance of the cutting edge.

For the cold shearing of high-strength materials we additionally provide specific surface heat treatments that ensure longer life to the cutting edge without affecting the toughness of the blade.
