Tumble belt blast machine

Possible uses of AGTOS tumble belt blast machines (type MG)

The troughed belt principle is an effective blasting process for descaling, derusting and deburring of robust mass-produced parts. Since the workpieces are processed together in batch mode, they must be able to survive this process unscathed. The workpieces to be blasted are circulated by the running endless rubber troughed belt and exposed to the centrifugal jet during the entire blasting time. The rubber trough belt ensures relatively gentle circulation. By maintaining small gap dimensions, even very small parts can be blasted. Alternatively, we are also happy to use drum blasting systems .

The machine can be filled and emptied in different ways: in automatic mode with loader and discharge chute; In semi-automatic mode, the filling can be done manually, using a hoist, or it can be emptied directly into the customer's containers.

For continuous production, we offer concepts with several linked machines.

product range

The AGTOS product range

Our standard program for tumble belt blast machines (MG) includes a filling volume of 90 liters to 550 liters.

The choice of machine depends on the volume and weight of the batch to be blasted. Furthermore, the workpiece parameters to be blasted such as geometry, material and temperature of the workpieces must be taken into account.

operational process

The operating procedure for tumble belt blasting machines

With the loading device, the workpieces are filled directly into the blasting machine in containers, on pallets or in the so-called bucket loader. The feeder is started at the push of a button on the control cabinet, the workpieces slide through the open loading door onto the troughed belt, which is already rotating forwards.

The feeder is then returned to the starting position. After the door is automatically closed and secured against opening, the blasting process begins. After the blasting time has elapsed, the door opens automatically and the finished blasted batch is emptied in cycles via a discharge chute or directly into the customer's containers.

The abrasive is kept in circulation and cleaned for continuous use. The cleaned blasting agent is transported from the blasting agent bunker to the high-performance turbine via the blasting agent dosing device.

A fan generates the required negative pressure for dust-free operation of the blasting system. The extracted air is cleaned with a filter system.
