Possible uses of AGTOS wire belt blasting machines (type BS)

Wire belt blasting machines can be used very flexibly. The fact that the workpieces can be blasted from above and below at the same time significantly expands the range of workpieces to be processed. Wire belt blasting machines are z. B. used for deburring, descaling and cleaning of cast and laser-cut parts. We are often asked whether the wire belt does not leave a shadow on the workpiece surfaces. We have developed ways to at least largely avoid this.

Our machines are very often used to process workpieces made of aluminum and magnesium (mostly die-cast). Deburring and finishing of the surfaces is required here. Our wire belt blast machines achieve the best results. For processes that use aluminum as a blasting medium, AGTOS has designed special wire belt blasting machines.

product range

The AGTOS product range

Our standard program for wire belt blasting machines includes throughput widths from 400 mm to 1600 mm.

The determination of the suitable machine concept depends, among other things, on your workpieces, the required surface, the existing halls, the required performance and, last but not least, your ideas regarding an optimal production process.

If the task cannot be solved with a standard machine, we will develop a tailor-made machine concept for you.

operational process

The operational sequence of wire belt blasting machines

The workpieces actuate the switching threshold arranged in front of the infeed lock for the automatic supply of abrasive to the running high-performance turbines. This ensures that blasting only takes place when there are workpieces in the blasting area.

The inlet sluice is equipped with wear-resistant rubber curtains for sealing. After passing through the blasting zone, the workpieces reach the blow-off device. The blasting agent remaining on the workpiece surfaces is fed back into the blasting agent circuit here.

The abrasive is kept in circulation and cleaned for continuous use. The cleaned blasting agent is transported from the blasting agent bunker to the high-performance turbines via the blasting agent dosing device.

A fan generates the required negative pressure for dust-free operation of the blasting systems. The extracted air is cleaned with a filter system.
