Strip & flat bars are extremely versatile pieces that can be used in a variety of projects and across all industries. It is a bar, cold or hot rolled, with a flat surface and rectangular face.

Flat bars are available in a range of widths and thicknesses. The thickness of the bar will determine the type of jobs it is best suited for. Smaller pieces are normally used for jobs where the amount of pressure and weight will be minimal, while larger thicker pieces are used to support more weight.

At Texas Iron & Metal, we offer a wide variety of strip & flat bars ranging from ⅛ inch to 3 inches, available in several thicknesses and various lengths. Strip & flat bars can handle weight per foot from 0.425 all the up to 81.600. The bars may be solid or punctuated by holes, slots or other cutouts for assembly.
