SAW CUTTING AND SHEARING SERVICES FOR YOUR PRIME AND SURPLUS STEEL AND PIPE
Dedicated to meeting your steel needs, Texas Iron & Metal now offers saw cutting services and shearing services. We’ll cut your prime and surplus steel and pipe purchases to the dimensions you choose before pick up or delivery. Now that’s supply on demand!
SAW CUTTING
Our sawing capabilities can accommodate material up to 25” x 25” or bundles that will fit. The dual-column saws can easily handle thicker material and a variety of steel shapes, including pipe, beams, angle, tubing (square, rectangular and round), channel and solids.
CNC BURNING
If you’re in need of plate burned to size, Oxy fuel cutting is for you. We can burn various standard shapes and from files with formats .dxf, .cnc, .cnc2, .point, .essi and .eia. Cutting carbon steel plate up to 5 3/4” thick, our flame cutting equipment can accommodate large pieces up to 9’ x 20’.
SHEARING
If you have a need for a specific plate size and need straight clean cuts, shearing is the way to go. Our production shear has the capabilities of shearing material from 1/8” to ½” in thickness and will shear up to 12’ in width.
IRONWORKER
Cutting and punching shorter length parts is easy work for an ironworker. If you have a specific need for sheared solid rounds, square or flat parts, punched holes in angle and flat stock our ironworker does it all.
